I have a number of web sites that I produce as a public service and they all use Linkmachine for displaying directories of web sites, partner sites, or related resource sites. Linkmachine is an excellent tool for managing all of your link relationships and for creating attractive html code for displaying your links on your web site.

Most people who use Linkmachie use it to increase their Search Enging Rating, for Search Engine Optimization. Linkmachine helps you build a large reciprocal link program. Search engines increase your rank when they detect lots of links pointing from other relevant sites to your site.

However, that is not the main reason I use Linkmachine. I like to provide resources for visitors in the form of directories to other web sites that I personally screen. Using Linkmachine allows me to keep these directories up to date and gives the owners of the other sites a way to edit their own descriptions or to add their own listings. I still have complete control over the content. I get the added benefit of SEO optimization by encouraging participants to link back to my site and tracking that with Linkmachine.

Without Linkmachine, this would be a very time consuming task.

Sustainability Store

Sustainability Store makes extensive use of Linkmachine. The home page is even generated by Linkmachine as are all of the category links on the left. This site has over 1000 links that are all carefully screened. Custom templates are used for all Linkmachine generated pages. Many categories have their own custom templates as well. The Linkmachine formating has been highly customized to allow for special award logos, custom search boxes and templates. It is one of the best Linkmachine sites you will find (if I do say so myself).

Wool Revolution

Wool Revolution has a nice integration of Linkmachine. You don't really notice that it is there, but if you choose a category such as "Wool Apparel" you will see that the content is all generated by Linkmachine. The installation is designed to fit the color scheme of the site and content is all related to the topic of wool.

Ultralight Living

Ultralight Living has a nice integration of Linkmachine. To see it in use, choose a category such as "Backpacking" and you will see a section called "Backpacking Reaources." Each of these sections on the site are generated by Linkmachine. The installation is designed to fit the color scheme of the site and content is all related to the topic of ultralight living.

Earth Care Paper

All of the categories on the left, such as "Hemp Products" are Linkmachine generated pages. These are all screened listings related to the topic of recycled paper. The installation is designed to fit the color scheme of the site.
